The M1947 Parka, a precursor to the M1951 Parka, is a rare reproduction item on the market.

Fabric & Design:

• Outer fabric: OD-3 BACK SATIN
• Detachable synthetic fur lining, can be worn separately
• Adjustable cuffs
• Detachable waist belt
• Front hand-warming pockets
• Large lower hem pockets
• Hooded design

Houston has refined the originally loose fit to make it more sleek and stylish. The detachable thermal lining can also be worn on its own.
